where is poweramp (trial) 'off' button?

this may be a silly question to most, but I've downloaded poweramp trial and cannot figure out how to stop this app without having to kill it. there is no 'off' button that I can see.

I understand that long pressing the pause/play button stops the app, but the music still can be heard.

I usually just stop the music and then press home. The OS will remove the app from RAM if it needs the space, otherwise there no harm done by leaving it inactive but memory-resident.

Just pause and back out of the app.
