where is the "=" button

Im a new Droid user (switched from BB). Im trying to get used to the touchscreen keypad and I noticed there is no = button. Am I just blind and missing it or does the = symbol not exist on the touchscreen keyboard. Its not that big of a deal but it seems silly to me.

Droid Pro - Landscape TouchScreen Keyboard press ?123 Button and then press ALT, the = sign is located on the key below the number 8. On the physical keyboard, Press ALT and press the letter V.
