I find Amazon great for cases. I use the Urban Armor Gear case on my s3 and its excellent 
P.s, all s3s are the same shape so it doesnt have to be for verizon

I've been impressed by the Otterbox Commuter Case, don't bother with screen protector though. Doesn't the naked phone feel so fragile when you're used to a case?

yeah a good case makes the phone feel not like a samsung. Ive had a few cases but since i bought this one ive only took it off a few times in like 8months.
i agree that a screen protector isnt needed. My s3 is approaching 2yrs old and the screen is flawless. I dont baby the phone at all but im in the habit of putting it in its own pocket with no keys, coins etc. The gorilla glass is really tough

Check out Newegg for a massive assortment of styles and colors for very low prices. Mybat is a cheap brand that makes great cases. Everyone thinks their case is the best so I won't even go into detail on what I have, but you can find anything you want at Newegg, along with screen protectors.

I had a Nokia N8-00 before SGS3 (moved to Android when Symbian died), anodised aluminium unibody, you could run a truck over it no probs.
I miss my old Nokia E71. I liked Symbian.

I have a Seidio waterproof case. I picked it up by accident on ebay. I had been looking at them, and saw one for sale. I lowballed a bid late one night on a case that ended in the wee hours. Much to my surprise, I won it.
So, since I won it, I use it. I actually like it quite a bit. I don't need the waterproof part of it so much, but I did want drop protection, and it does that.
The downside is that it turns a Porsche into a tank. When I pick up my wife's S3, I marvel at what a sleek, lite-weight machine it is. I forget that is what is inside all that protection I carry around.
So, since I won it, I use it. I actually like it quite a bit. I don't need the waterproof part of it so much, but I did want drop protection, and it does that.
