Where to download ringtones?

I know I can "create" ringtones myself and place them in the ringtones folder instead of installing an app with ringtones, but I don't want to :p.
I am not that creative and even though I have basic notions of audio editing and could do it perfectly fine to make an .mp3 file suited for the job, I don't recall that many songs that would sound cool as a ringtone in my phone. Also, I think I'd rather have a "beep" melody, just not the typical "ring ring" thing...

What bothers me is that whenever I search for ringtones or anything similar on the internet I end up with a bunch of google play store pages for ringtone apps, which I don't like because 1: Are full of ads, and 2: They won't let you keep the ringtones without the app.

Tl;dr - Do you know any good website, method or way to get premade ringtones without installing useless apps in your device?

Thanks! :)

You can download ringtones from Zedge on your laptop/PC and move them to your phone, email it to yourself and open/install from your phone or scan the QR code and install on your phone. You don't need the app installed, I downloaded one to my laptop a long time ago (and a few phones ago) and it works perfectly.

Wow I didn't know you could do that! In fact I have Zedge installed in my phone right now... I will try that, thanks!! :D

Edit: Just came here to tell you I can now wake up to The Hobbit theme song! awesome. Thanks a lot (again) :).

I know you didn't want to d/l any more apps. But I do find Ringtone Maker to be quite handy. I can use any of my iTunes media. Including the many sound fx I have in my library.

I make my own ringtones but zedge and myxer are two of the services I have used in the past and they both worked fine.
