Nice! No confirmation email for me, but I'm figuring next time it gets back on stock on the website, I'll receive one. After seeing that error again this morning, when I tried adding one to cart, that gave me comfort knowing I made the right decision pre-purchasing in the store.

Again, not complaining, just a bit concerned ... Why would I get that shipping email and not you? The only thing I can think of is that you'll get it tomorrow since I ordered mine on Friday and you in Saturday? That's what I'm hoping anyway.... Because it's not like my store is getting this watch from a secret place, aren't they ordering them from the same place or do you think it's a matter of distribution centers? Perhaps I'm looking into it because I don't trust my confirmation email, but let's just hope they start showing up all over the place for all who want it.

It's happened to me before. I purchased a sandisk 128gb the same way and never received a confirmation shipping email.
I'm not worried about it. The order is at least placed, so it'll be in their system. If I don't end up getting it, by the time Best Buy has no problem with stocking, then I'll just call them to see if they have a tracking number (which they should). I think it's distribution centers.

I take it back. I just received shipment confirmation and a tracking number! Success. I'm very happy about the decision I made to follow Joe's footsteps. And big shout out to Best Buy in Sherman Oaks for doing what I knew West LA will always have problems with (providing Good customer service).

I went with the all black. I'm a sucker for black and I think it looked so good on me. I took pics while in BB and when I showed them to my wife her response was that it was super classy looking. And if you know my wife, she knows style, so that was super reassuring. However, I didn't think you can go wrong either way.

Yup. Me too. Glad I held out on using gift cards for something I didn't want or need. Came in handy for this one.
My replacement band will be here tomorrow, most likely, so I might just swing by a Best buy to make sure the thickness is right.

Damn! Even with the tech community kicking in to report stock being back in, it's a crap shoot for people to even make it in. Sorry. If I see in stock again, I'll keep posting links up for peeps.
That said, for those of you that don't want to wait for stock to re-fill online, I suggest trying to have a chat with your local store, to see if they'll do an advanced/pre-order for you, so that it'll save you the hassle and time.
Was able to grab a silver one online at best buy last night before midnight but get an email this morning that it was back ordered, expected to be available between September 25 - October 4. So this morning before 7, i check best buy and was able to pick up the black version but I feel it's going to be the same situation. I'm still debating if I want black or silver.

At least you were able to swoop one up. You'll have 14 days. If you don't end up liking the black, you can just return it. Congrats, either way.
The one thing I'd also been checking, before I was able to place my order in store and get a shipping confirmation, is the "open box" area of Best Buy's website. Since I'd seen a lot of people mentioning returning (due to battery life) or not liking the color/design, Best Buy should eventually have some available through their "open box" portion of the website.

Man, if that's the case, I'm calling BB tomorrow and giving them my Order Number and telling them to give me one of those "IN STOCK" beauties!
Although I'm willing to bet my shipping confirmation will coincide with their allotment...at least I'd think.

If I hadn't used a certificate, which doesn't instantly get refunded, I would probably stop in to order, but I'm content with the watch being on its way to me for Friday delivery.

Well well well. I just got confirmation that they both shipped. I was going to take whichever one got to me first as fate, but I suppose I still have to decide.
I definitely like the look of the black better, but I've had black watches fade and start to look scratched and gun metal, so that's why I think I like the silver better. I just don't like the grey band (I know I can get this changed). Has anyone with the black version gotten any scratches yet?
