Where to get water damaged HD repaired

Can anyone reccommend somewhere to get my water damaged handset repaired please?

It didn't get submersed,just showered,I did the usual stuff that saved my previous Desire,drying it out and it worked for a few days but I'm now left with it working at times but then freezing

The whole display is perfect though and I've had no problem recieving calls,I absolutely love the HTC and I'm gutted as I've only had the handset for a few weeks,bought from a freind who didn't want it after an upgrade,thought it was too good to be true,it's on the house insurance but claiming isn't an option as I had to claim for something previously:mad:

Any help greatly appreciated
 
When you say freezing what exactly happens?

Are you doing a particular task or anything intense? Does it do it when doing the same thing or randomly?

Just trying to determine whether it's because of the water or because of another reason.

You say it wasn't submerged but only showered, how powerful was the shower because it would have to be pretty heavy to damage the device.

Have you tried a Factory Reset?

it got fairly wet,the camera lens was misted up but there wasn't water eactly dripping out of it though,also it doesn't seem to matter what application you're using,it seems okat times then either freezes or starts going crazy,flickering or zooming in and out and loading diferrent pages etc

I havn't tried factory resetting it,or reflashing,how do I do the latter,do I switch it on and hold the volume up or down?
 
When this has happened in the past (the wife BTW, NOT me .... ) I took the phone apart completely straight away and dried off everything. Drying it out without doing this usually leaves drops of water inside somewhere - probably over one of those nice, expensive circuit boards ....

Have you tried drying it out in a bag of rice? I've heard that putting in a bag with some rice for a few days helps as it absorbs the moisture out of the phone.
 
I havn't tried the rice trick,I'll give it a go,thankfully it was my HD and not my One x,sorry wrong section,same result though
