What is it you don't understand? The Android environment? How to turn an idea into a program? Programming? (Learning a language is like a mechanic finding a screwdriver - now what? A language is just a tool that you use to turn a program into something a computer understands.)

That really should be enough to get you started, especially if you have a solid grasp on Java to begin with. As Rukbat asked, is there something in particular that you're struggling with?
