I was rammed into on the sidewalk by an idiot trying to catch a cab recently and I dropped my Nexus 7 8gb that I bought mid August. It fell on one corner (I was oh so close to catching it) so the cracks spread across the top of the screen.
Unfortunately, despite the rest of the screen being fine, it is completely unresponsive. Press as I might, it just does a color dimple.
I'd like to get at least some money for it, but I really really hate eBay, the high fees they charge and the amount of time I have to wait for the money because I don't sell enough items through them (they've really gone to hell from the POV of an individual just trying to sell a single item).
Any suggestions on what the best forum for this is? I tried Craigslist here in NYC but, despite my description and pictures, every single person who has replied has been under the impression that I was selling a perfectly good Nexus 7 for best offer. The level of stupidity never ceases to amaze me...
