Same here. I'm brand new to Android- and loving it. I'm getting used to my lovely Wildfire (upgraded from a crappy basic Nokia so no surprise!) but am still frustrated by the way things are done.

I downloaded some new wallpapers and was told they live in 'sd card/wallpapers'. How I find them and actually use them has got me flummoxed however. Please advise! Thanks.

Download a file manager such as "astro" from the market to browse your sd card.

What if I don't have a data plan yet to get the Astro File Manager..?

I got the apk's for Astro,Angry Birds,Doodle Jump and put them in my sd card...
But can't access them on my phone?
Any ideas?

Do you have access to a wifi router or hotspot? Then you don't need a data plan.
