So in running apps I have 426mb used and 269mb free. That's not 1 gb. I know there is always some type of allocation of RAM.
Does the OS keep some on the side?
Is that total just the running apps and cached apps total? And it will increase or decrease as apps are opened or closed?
Lastly, outside of an app killer app, can I reduce what is running or cached?
Next, There is a developer tools option for background processes limit. It has options for standard, none, then for 1-4 background activities.
Would one of these options be better for freeing up RAM, and possibly battery life?
Thanks as usual?
