Just downloaded this and think its a great app. The only problem is if my phone is stolen there are several ways to uninstall it. Anyone have a solution?

Use Android Device Manager. Cannot be uninstalled. Lock the phone with a password or pattern. Keep the phone IMEI number so you can have the phone blacklisted and rendered useless.

ADM cannot be uninstalled. It's part of Android by default. Enables remote locking and/or wiping of the device and you can locate the device with any browser.

The other member is show and telling you that long as the Google play store and Google framework is active you can log on and wipe your device from any browser such as any PC/laptop or android device can even be a apple iPod or a iPad any browser can wipe and maybe locate this device . damm for all we know it maybe in your backyard fell out when you was cutting your grass:eek::D:what:

There is also an app on Play called Android Device Manager which allows you to lock/locate/wipe other devices from your phone or tab.

That can be uninstalled, but even without the app, the core functionality is built in to Android and if setup correctly, it means your device can be remotely locked or located from any PC.

I take it this only works if GPS is active so what happens if GPS is turned off by person who stole phone?
