Help Where's NFC?

Mom took her phone to sprint and they updated her phone for her to ICS. However now there's no NFC in the settings. What's going on?

Nfc is not a software feature.

NFC is part of Jellybean & it's been confirmed that Galaxy S2 will be receiving it in the near future.

Only the International version of the phone has NFC. The Sprint version does not. Also, the JB update is most likely for the international version as well. It's likely to be a long while before JB is available for the Sprint version of the SGSII. Just look at how the ICS update went.
