Where's the excitement??

I'm going to be honest -- while the ET packs in an amazing feature set for the size, the overall user experience from the Evo 4G is essentially the same, just smoother/faster. It's not the same quantum leap that I took from WinMo 6.0 to Android 2.1 -- there was no Hallelujah chorus singing in the background when I fired up the ET.

I appreciate every improvement the ET has over the Evo 4G (and there are improvements everywhere) and I'm glad I have this phone, but it feels like a refinement more than a quantum leap.

That said, I am super happy to have this phone over my Evo 4G, but my excitement and enthusiasm last year with the Evo 4G was magnitudes higher than this year.

Yeah, Sprint's data has been crap lately--worse than ever here in Indianapolis. I just can't wait for all the iPhone sheeple to clog up the network and make it even worse... just can't wait. If things get noticeably worse post-iPhone launch, I'm gone like sh*t through a goose.

I haven't had any of these data issues... yet. Only been a customer for a couple months... switched from Big Red... was tired of being jerked around.

I'm in NY, and the data speeds here are horriable. They've been getting worse over the past few months. I hope Sprint isn't throttling the speeds down just to get us used to it before the iPhone causes a mass clog.
