Where's the new Wear OS update?

I think it's a much bigger improvement than a lot of people assumed based on the announcement.
While true, she suffers from 'ignore everything her husband tells her' not to mention it's possible I've been showing/telling her about this for weeks.
So, how comfortable is your couch? ;)
Secret to my marriage is we have separate rooms :), have had since I was 3rd shift back in 07 ;)

Has everyone's watch except mine been updated?

Wear OS 2.17 was just pushed out... and while my apps are updating, the watch's operating system isn't! I check for updates probably 3 times a day, and 'System is up to date'.

GRRRR!

Not that this helps, but I don't believe it is an OS update at any rate. You want to see a WearOs app update on watch (and phone). That is what is pushing the new UI.

I have been on the new version for a while, just another reason why I love these Fossil smartwatches.

I've actually been giving a Tic Watch a go for past weeks/month(s). Every time I put the Fossil back on it's an instant love affair all over again. Absolutely top notch. I don't see a situation where I ever buy another watch if it isn't a Fossil.

I do love how they have that real watch look and feel and still manage to lead the smartwatch pack with updates. :D

And even once you get the app update, it still takes a server-side switch to enable it. It seems like some manufacturers *cough*huawei*coughcough* might be holding up that switch, possibly so they can work to integrate their own fitness app into the swipe-left fitness panel? (Complete guess on my part.)

Exactly, I would have never thought the actual watch people would make the best smartwatches, but color me pleasantly surprised.

No shit? Wow, didn't realize that was the hold up. I mean, I've been seeing people complain about the UI update not coming, but obviously haven't dug into it enough. Crap. Good thing we have a real product expert here to educate me :p (lol)

Nice! Looks like my guess at them trying to integrate the Huawei apps didn't turn out... no clue why it took them so long to flip the switch then.
