Can anybody advise me , if I can connect my Tab 2 to internet using a 3G dongle, and if yes what MAKE & MODEL ? Also what other accessory - like USB adapter will I need? many thanks.
Well have you followed older tabs that have done this and referenced chipsets?
This is a brand new tablet, I doubt very many people have tried it with the cabled USB adapter so far!
Someone prove me wrong
Most people tether to their cell phone or have dedicated wifi BroadBand at their homes.
Again, this just came out, and it might take some time before someone tries the hardware they already have.
Thank you for taking the trouble to answer my quest. but only partially -

As I said my need is to use it outside where no Wifi available - but HOW? I do hope that I am not asking the obvious. Thanks.
Rather than a cellular USB dongle, get a cellular hotspot device. You will need a cellular data contract with a carrier like Verizon or ATT for about $50 per month for 5 G. These devices use the data from a cellular network to create you own personal WIFI. You would connect your tablet to this WIFI network just like any other network. They are smaller that most smart phones and easy to carry along with you. They also allow connections to 5 devices at once. I have a 3g Five Spot Global from Verizon that works really well, but I don't think they sell them anymore. They've been replaced by faster 4g LTE devices.
If your phone and your cellphone contract are compatible, it would be cheaper to use your phone as the wifi hotspot. Then you wouldn't need a separate device and contract. I'd do that except that I would have to give up my unlimited data plan to get a plan that allowed using the phone as a wifi hotspot.
