Which android on sprint?

I'm subscribing to Sprint shortly.
Am debating between the HTC EVO 3D or the new Samsung Galaxy.
Will be using th phone mainly for apps, not social netwprking.
Also, I have arthritis in my hands - thinking the HTC being a bit slimmer might be better.
Opinions? Thanks!

I had the 3D, sold it for the Galaxy and I love it, better phone IMO

I thoroughly enjoy my Evo 3D. I use the 3D feature often enough where I would miss it if I switched to the E4GT (Epic 4G Touch - the name of the S2 on Sprint).

As far as apps, you're generally fine with either device. Except when it comes to games. Both devices have problems when it comes to games. The Adreno 220 that's in the Evo 3D is not compatible with older versions of the Unity engine, which is a very popular game engine. The GS2 has a bit better benchmarks with it's IMAP (I got that right, didn't I?) GPU, but it suffers from a similar problem of older games not being optimized to use it, so games can suffer there, too.

But, I think you really should pick whichever fits in your hand better if you have arthritis. If it hurts to use the phone, the phone is useless, IMO. But, keep in mind, you can get cases that may help the feel of the phone.

I appreciate hearing from u. I'd love a bit more info, if u don't mind.

I'm a newbie to smartphones, but not in age ...I'm 65! I've been using computers for a long time, but I've been told while both HTC & Samsung use the same OS, HTC is more user friendly.

So, aside from my arthritis in my hands, I'd like a phone that's fairly obvious in use for apps, internet, games - as well as sound quality.

Can u share why u switched - might it be applicable to my situation?

Much thanks!

LOL, don;t know the games u mention. I'm still on Bejeweled & Luxor :o
Is the HTC simpler to use?

But the less wide size of the HTC 3D does seem more comfortable. As far as apps, internet access ( only 3D in Detroit at the moment w/ Sprint) & sound quality, do u prefer one over the other?

Again, thanks for your input!
