which android phone should i get?

My contract is up with verizon in a month or two and im looking to upgrade to a smart phone. im not in the biggest rush ever to get one but it would be nice to have one soon. Ive been looking at the HTC evo 4g, the HTC Thunderbolt and the HTC evo 3d. which one do you guys think i should get??

also i would like to play games, dl video/music and what not as well.

I would pick the HTC EVO 3G but it doesn't sound like its coming out till summer or late spring that is. Just checking the possible launch windows.

I say go for the Thunderbolt if you want something soon.

There's really nothing in these requirements to narrow it down to one device. Any other criteria?

i am a compositor at a vfx company and i would like to be able to carry around my video assets and dailies on my phone and i want them to look good on the screen but have something that can hold hi res video. and basically something thats not gonna lag or bog down when i have a lot of apps on it. also something i can root.
