Which android phone shuold I get

I have had my original Droid for just about a year now and am looking to get a new one. Which phone on the android platform would you recommend, I am using Verizon. I find the droid I have now to be a little sluggish.

Is it a good time to get a new phone or should I wait a few months, I am not sure what phones are comming in the next few months.

Have you looked at the Droid 2?
Same form factor, hardware has been brought up to date.

Wait for the Droid Incredible 4g or the Motorola 4g phone for verizon. That's what id do if I was on verizon.

Yeah on Verizon I'd wait for the Incredible HD 4G whatever they're gonna call it. But I wouldn't stay with Verizon personally as I can get a new phone every year with Sprint.
