Which Android Tab to buy . . .

Looking to buy an Android tablet. Currently use a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as my phone and love it.

But want something to replace my laptop for traveling. I will be using the Tab to surf the web and play movies from Netflix and Amazon. Will want to play some music files too. Also send and receive email and view some PDF docs. No games other than perhaps some solitare card games.

Would like one with a screen size not smaller than 8". Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also why you make your recommendation.

Thanks in advance.

Nexus 10 is well priced, and combined with a MoKo Bluetooth Keyboard/Case for <30USD, can become a quick-and-easy netbook as well. I love mine.

Samsung has the Note 8.0 and a refresh of the Note 10.1 coming up very soon. That might be something to look into since it would be familiar. Other good options would be the upcoming Asus Transformer 701, or the refresh of the Nexus 10 which should be coming within the next 1-1.5 months.

Moved to Device Comparisons. :)

If money matters, Nexus 10. If it doesn't you should consider either the Note 8 and new Note 10.1 as well due to familiarity and expandable storage options.

Thanks to all who responded with your recommendations. Gives me a great place to start my search. Also nice to know that some new or updated devices are coming out soon.

Finally pulled the trigger and bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. What made it the best was the screen size for viewing videos with my wife and also my familiarity with Samsung Note products.

Thanks all for your input.
