Which browser do you prefer?

I've raised a problem on the Desire forum re the browser and wondered if anyone else has fouund this problem - its with regard to login onto online banks.

You need to complete a number of boxes and some are certain letters of passwords etc. When you click on the first box (username) it goes to text entry and none of the boxes are labelled though so how do you know which ones need to be completed? When you click the next box after you enter the username, for instance, another empty box pops up. Same thing when making a payment online too. Have tried the standard browser and the Xscope.

Not trying to be a troll - just looking for an answer or whether a fault needs raising (somewhere?).

So far, out of all the browsers I've tried, xScope has been my favorite. I gave Dolphin a try but I didn't like it all that much, and I didn't like Opera that much either, but so far, xScope has been really nice. I'd buy the full version, but I want to wait until my phone is upgraded so I don't have to buy it twice for two different Android versions.

The developer for xScope is very responsive to issues. You should post the problem and the website that you are having the problem with. It could just be the websites inability to function well with mobile browsers or it could be some issue in the browser itself. If the developer is informed of the problem and the problem website, he should be able to track it down. The developer has been monitoring this thread:

I use the stock browser.i like opera, super fast. But no pinch to zoom kills it.

I use dolphin. As far as the bookmark widget goes, what I do is visit each site I wish to bookmark with the stock browser then save that site as a bookmark within the stock browser. You can now see the bookmarks in your widget and as long as dolphin is set as your default browser tapping the bookmark within the widget will take you there through dolphin.

Browsers with Pinch Zoom:

xScope
Dolphin
stock browser
Infinity

Browsers without Pinch Zoom:

Opera
Skyfire
Steel
Coco

Let me know If I missed any or have errors.

I decided to try xScope and I am very impressed. Best browser I've tried so far.

Yup. The developer is on it too... Big time.

I reported an issue running the browser benchmark webpage and he had a fix same day. He should be pushing it out soon. Im guessing tomorrow or the next day.
