Which browser do you use?

I've read somwhere that a browser like Opera Mini can significantly reduce data usage and is much quicker. Also, good things have been said about Dolphin.

Was just wondering what browsers you all use.

ive heard a lot prefer opera on ace and also skyfire (since it supports flash)

Yeah, I've been using Opera Mini for a couple of days now. I have noticed that my data usage has significantly reduced and that the pages load much quicker than the Ace's stock browser (whatever that's called).

Reading about it, I believe the browser sends your page request to it's servers, packages it in a way that it strips out all the rubbish, then loads it back (or something like that).

Anyway, I will keep an eye on it and see how it goes.

Dolphin HD or Opera Mini? Which one is better?

Not used Dolphin. Opera Mini suits me just fine for now. The graphics aren't as crisp as the stock browser, but I am saving loads on data usage over the past few days.

Example today, I used Opera Mini for approx 3 hours and have used 16mb of data. I then used the stock browser and in ten minutes I had used 4mb. Do the math.

I only surf sites like twitter, facebook, bbc, hotmail etc, but do not stream i.e. YouTube.

Get app Opera Mini browser and type in address bar opera:config, it goes configuration page. In that scroll down you will see that 'Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts'-change to YES and save it.

Now browse, you will get tamil language and also other languages i think.
