Which case?

I bought the Speck case (white with rubber lines on it) for my HTC One X.

But, I have to say, pressing the power button is HARD, to say the least. What case(s) did you buy?

I also put the Invisible Shield on it, and I'm wondering if that is causing it to not respond on the screen all the time...

I got the white Speck "grip" case from the AT&T store. I had the InvisiShield on it too but the Speck caused it to lift from the bottom corner, so I took it off. I personally like the case because it does let me grip the phone. Without a case, the phone was slick and kinda slipped off my hands a bit. I find the the power button requires a firm push to get it to open and you do kinda have to push it towards the front of the button rather than the middle but its not something I find as inconvenient.

I'm wondering if I should leave it without a screen protector since it has Gorilla Glass or if I should put on another Invisi and just cut it towards the bottom to where it doesn't cover the entire screen and thus left.

I just recently changed my phone to the One X over the weekend, and I'm looking for a case and a film. I have placed my order in for Sgp film, but I'm clueless as to which case would be suitable for my new phone. Any suggestions will be great. I don't see many threads regarding cases for the new HTC One X. Hopefully, my steinheil film will be delivered to me soon as I purchased it from here. SGP HTC

My girlfriend just got the One X and the speck case - I did a speedtest with the case on and off - 19mbps with case on and 33mbps with the case off (wifi of course). Any case suggestions??!!

Try amazon.com they have a couple case leaher case in price are anywhere from 20 to 50 dollars.plastic see thru case 19 dollars on up depending on style. They also have some design snap- on cases skull design but mainly flowers design. Also do a google search if you have not done this yet because there are deals that you will get screen protection a case and a car charger for your device. I have a skull snap-on case and it works great and it does not make the device heavy or unatractive. Found on ebay it cost 6 dollars

I got the speck grip case and returned it after one day. It's a well made case but the fit is very tight and like something said the buttons are stiff.

I ended up getting the Platinum holster/case combo from best buy and I really like it. It's basically a Seidio Surface Combo knockoff.

I just tried this and there was no difference in speed with and without the case.

Do you have any photos? How is it like using a holster/case combo?? I've searched some of the cases under Amazon, but I haven't found one that I liked. :argh:

Try amzer.com just brought two cases from them both of them are tough cases one is a clip on that when you slip the phone into the case it has a cloth material inside it so it will not scratch the glass of phone and it works with a screen protector also the othe case is the same but without the belt clip so you can put it in your pocket too. Clip on case is 14 dollars the regular one is 9 dollars.also otterbox will be making cases too but you have to leave an email address so the can tell you when they will have them in stock.

I'm returning this one today, and getting something else...
It is a pain to press the power button.

Bought this case too and I have no problems with power button so if that is your only problem try another. I have a couple issues. I also got a zagg screen protector and this lifts up the front of it. Also really have to wrestle with this case to get it off. Aside from that I think it is a great case. I would really just love a clear or white simple case that is more protective like this but without all the black rubber.

I now just really want something simply...

I wonder if the Spec one was made just a tad too tight.

Went into mall today and bought one from one of the vendors at a kiosk. Cost me $25 with tax for something that you could probably get on ebay for way less but I got to try it on and it fits the bill for me. If anyone has gone to best buy it is the only one they are currently selling. Harder silicone argyle one. Best buy only had smoky grey but I got a clear one from mall vendor with the argyle pattern that I could have done without. Works with my Zagg and has a lip to protect screen.

...care to post a photo of it?

I have the same one. I love the protectiveness of it and the look. I fixed the power button issue by simply folding a piece of thick paper and putting in there above the power button. Can't see it and makes the power button much easier to push.
