Just a quick poll for the board since there hasn't been much activity here lately.

Which ROM OS is your choice for your gtablet - Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, or Stock?

I'm on Froyo (Brilliant Corners 1.2.1), and really love it. I'd go to Honeycomb if hardware acceleration becomes a reality, but until then it's BC for me.

Cyanogen7 is definitely my favorite. While I like GtabComb, I am only running it for the HC experience. With 3 other devices running on GB, I wanted to try something different on the g-tablet. Now that I use my nook color for carrying around, the gtab stays beside my bed for netflix viewing and occasional web browsing so i haven't even noticed the lack of hardware acceleration.

I've had GTabComb running on mine since I think the day after it came out. I love the Honeycomb functionality, but the lack of normal flash is annoying.

Honeycomb for me because it just feels right. I've used my Gtab the same way on all the OS's I've tried. So, if it functions the same way on a froyo rom, my choice would be just to use a HC rom.

Do you use your camera? Do you mind using Opera as a browser? Are all your vids 1080p? If your answer is yes to all of those questions, then stick with a Froyo ROM. If you are flexible in your answer, then I would say try one of the HC ROMS.

HW acceleration might not be that big of a deal depending on how you use your tablet. It's easy enough to go from one ROM to another so why not try all the other ROMS for yourself. Try a HC ROM you might not ever go back to a Froyo ROM.

I tried Flashback HC at first. My wife wanted to use the gtab for work and use Youtube, and all the videos looked terrible - grainy, garbled. I don't think I was using Opera. I tried a couple of other ROM's before finding Brilliant Corners.

Does Gtabcomb work well with Youtube and other Flash video with the Opera browser? If so, then I'll give it a try. I don't need the camera or anything like that, especially with the lack of a working Skype. Thanks.

Which version of flashback were you using? I have flashback 7.0 and youtube has been fixed to at least play all vids at high quality. I'm sure the latest version of gtabcomb as well.

I have zero issues playing flash with opera and all flash apps also work well with flashback. I can't say much about gtabcomb but I bet its similar.
