Which phone to get?

Hello all...been an avid Windows Mobile user for years, but getting my upgrade on the 20th. Looking for suggestions on which Android handset to get...love to mod and flash custom ROMS, so any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Like Martimus said, depends on the carrier you have. I have AT&T... I went from an HTC Tilt 2 with Winmo 6.5 and just upgraded to an HTC Inspire 4g with Android... The Inspire is, of course, hands down a WAY better phone.

I am on Verizon...coming from a SCH-i910 Omnia...i am looking at either the Droid X or the HTC Incredible...i keep reading about the Moto having a locked bootloader, i am unfamiliar with android, but having flashed my WinMo phone hundreds of times, i already know that i will not leave whichever phone i get alone

I, too, am on Verizon. I have the Droid X and I love it. I especially like the large screen. Makes movie watching (and everything else IMHO) better. Nothing superior, to my knowledge. Good Luck
