Root Which ROM is better?

I have just put the first rom on my phone this morning and loving it. But which is really better or are they all the same? Also how would i go about putting another rom onto my phone, would i have to go back to stock or just CWM from what is on my phone now? Thanks all in advance

They are all good it just depends on what you like better.
To change roms just boot into recovery wipe data factory reset then advanced and wipe devlik then flash new rom ^_^

Edited to add more details.

CM7 has tons of themes on google playstore so its easy to customize
CTmod has themes but they are all in this forum and need to be installed in recovery
Miui rom has plenty of themes at www.miuithemes.com just make sure you don't apply the lockscreens because you might be locked out of your phone and have to start all over again to use the lockscreens go to playstore and download the app called milocker. apply the lockscreens through that app
Cant forget 187 mod whats nice about it is that it comes themed and comes with all the nice scripts that will make your phone fly

That question can only be answered by what you are looking to get out of the Rom and if your looking for stability or if your looking to test the options. CM7 is by the fastest and most customizable. Although CTMod is right behind CM7 in performance and stability. Plus there are also many themes that you can apply to it. HoneyBread is right up there with CTMod, not quite as fast, but just as stable and it's made from a hybrid of Android 2.3.6 and 2.3.7 platforms.:bike:

Answer to the OP. Try them all and pick the one that you like and works best on your phone.. Everyone has their own opinion as to which one runs better. Each phone is different too. Some phones runs better with certain ROMs where others do not.

All of them are AWESOME ROMs.

I have used both CM7 and various versions of CTMOD and they are both excellent. I tend to stay with CM7 for some reason.

CM9 and MIUI are in various stages of being refined for the Prevail and are excellent so far with a few glitches being worked out.

If I do switch from CM7, I can feel myself being drawn to MIUI. I LOVE that ROM!

Alright every theme i buy or the free ones all say improperly compiled i have installed themeinstaller.zip from a post wetbiker posted a while back. Any help on this?

Corrupt download? Uninstall and try again, or contact the developer for assistance

theme error this theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied. Please report this incident to the theme author

Maybe it has to do with this being a unoffical cm7?

Nope, i have used DOZENS of themes from that app, ate you making sure it is mdpi?

Hdpi will not work on this phone

The themes need to be MDPI. HDPI will not work.

EDIT: LOL, as soon as I posted this I read your post LV. lmao DUH!

I personally have always leaned toward ctmod but I the MIUI is totally fantastic. Obviously they are all under constant development and improvement, so realistically you can't go wrong with any of them

anyone have problems with cm7 using mass storage?

keeps rebooting when i choose to use mass storage

Guess it was the theme i had on wouldnt let it work

yep, had that problem the other day and ended up starting from scratch because I couldn't get it to stop. Odin EJ06, flash CWM update, flash CM7, flash Katokernel, etc. . Make sure you wipe dalvik after each flash. LOL I just typed this same thing in another thread too. :D

That may cause you to have issues downloading apps from the market... Resolution is one of the things the market checks to identify the phone
