Help Which Version is the Right Version for me?

Hello,

This may be more of a question for just the regular Motorola RAZR but after searching for hours I keep hearing mixed things. First off- I live in Canada. I'd like to purchase an unlocked RAZR so I can take it to any mobile carrier that will accept it(cheaper- no contracts). Now, is the 'Droid RAZR/MAXX' just for Verizon? It says it runs on GSM and something else(I forget) but apparently it doesn't really run on GSM. I'd like to get the MAXX since it's the best out of the 3 where battery life is concerned at least. So, is there only one version of this phone that can be used here in Canada on GSM?

I keep hearing about weird import versions from the UK? It seems very confusing to me. I've read that the Motorola Razr Xt910 is the one I need and not the Motorola DROID Razr Xt912 but please clarify what I need to know on this. I will be trying to put it on the Wind Mobile network here in Canada.

Also, I can't find any links to buy this phone that isn't the droid verizon version. Also, does anyone know of a discount for this phone?

If you need a Sim card for your network, you need the 910 version. (which I assume you do.)
