Help Which video format does mytouch supports

Mp4 I watch several movies on this phone. I usuallly download ipod, psp or zune formats and I have never had an issue

Get Rock Player, it plays a lot of different types of video including avi. No need to convert anything.

On mobile device "always" use MP4 format just make sure the media you have is specially encode for the device you view it in. Below is HD profile for MT4G.

You have to properly encode the video here is detail explanation with HD profile of what your mpeg4 video output should look like in *.mp4 format. You don't need to convert it with any other A/V codec as mpeg4 containers is sufficient if done correctly. I always encode my videos for mobile device before I transfer it thats another reason it looks good.
