Looks like the WH will have some "splaining to do" now that the petition to overturn the recent law making it illegal to unlock phones has surpassed the 100,000 signature threshold.

I'd be interested in knowing if a single one of these petitions has ever changed anything. To my knowledge not a single one has.
ATT/Verizon/Sprint/Tmobile lobbyists in washington - they want to take our guns away & now we can't unlock cell phones anymore either.....whats next no fast food )

Read the news.
There are laws out there to ban super sized foods, salt on the public dining table and other crazy crap. Fast food is most certainly in the cross-hairs.
There are trans-fat bans, sugar bans, bans on fast food joints themselves. Some schools are banning cupcakes. One school recently banned homemade lunches.
So yes, fast food is on its way out.
I was going to say everything's fine in moderation however, on reflection, maybe you should avoid cyanide altogether ..
Re the original issue: this is exactly the sort of thing you can look forward to following the Citizens United ruling. If you allow unfettered bribery - sorry, lobbying - of politicians, then the paymasters are going to get everything the way they want it.
One of the prime reasons you have an elected government is to able to control the excesses of private individuals and corporations. Obviously, they were pretty much getting their own way already but that ruling essentially means you (and because of US influence on internation rules, the rest of us) can kiss your derriere good bye when it comes to fair treatment by business.
LOL . . . without cyanide and 40 or so other dangerous chemicals as well as some trace amounts of chemicals not allowed by the drug enforcement folks, we would have no chocolate.
I don't think it's on its way out. Rather, it's going to become healthier. We're gonna see more healthy sandwiches, more fruit/vegetables, and slightly fresher foods. Think Cosi, Chipotle or Starbucks compared to the "old" McDonalds or Dairy Queen. Fast food will change, hopefully for the better, but it won't ever disappear.
Sounds like you are supporting socialism to me. Whether or not someone wants to eat a greasy cheeseburger with fries should be entirely up to them. And there should NEVER be a law against selling them.
If you want to eat more fruit and vegetables, like I do, then just go buy some. Why do you support criminalizing someone who wants a cheeseburger today?
Would you also support registering your daily meals so the government can monitor your calorie/fat intake to make sure you are not going over what they have deemed "healthy" levels and then fining or incarcerating those that violate the set standards?

What?! No chocolate?!!
Cyanide is now my friend.
In chocolate, if not moderation.
Please read the full Obama Care bill and I guarantee, food monitoring is the least scary thing to fret over.
Perhaps those on food stamps should be monitored. They buy crap and junk food which is not always a good thing. Since it is my tax dollars funding the new HC, I have a say so in how the dollars are spent.

Making it illegal to un-lock our cell phones is just another step towards that Jerks Socialistic Agenda to take our God given RIGHTS away... Yes, rights not privileges... I'm curious, is it harder for the Government to tap an unlocked cell phone? Or a rooted one? Bill
