OK, so here is the deal everyone. It gets a little long BUT it's worth the read if you can help me. So I started off with Verizon on my own last year by getting the Bionic for free. I love that phone and wanted it very much so I was excited. Anyways, had the phone for awhile and half way thru owning it I started having serious signal issues and I live in a Verizon RICH signal area. So I got swapped to another one. Cool! So after another 6 months I started having random resets and just loosing signal all the time in areas that I should never see that happening. So I got the option to switch between the LG Intuition, Razr M, or another phone similar to the Intuition.
I took the M, and after having it for only the weekend due to the shipping on it I called and asked to have it swapped. I'm being real here when I say I'm 6'3" and have big hands. That phone was like a kids toy in my hands and I couldn't use it hardly at all because of that. So they gave me the Razr Maxx. They wouldn't give me the Maxx to begin with because it was a 100 dollar price difference but the M was only 50 bucks difference and they could justify it. They also justified the switch from the M to the Maxx because it too was only a 50 dollar increase.
So now here I sit with my second Maxx that I've only had since last Wednesday waiting for my THIRD to come to me in the mail tomorrow. Now I spoke online with Verizon and asked if I could just be jumped to the Maxx HD and skip the 3rd replacement but I was told no because my reason for the swap was because my earpiece speaker was bad. If it were anything else and there had been trouble shooting done then I could probably go to the HD.
My question is this, has anyone had any better luck switching from a phone they keep having problems with to a phone with less or no problems at all? If so how was it done and what steps can I take to ensure that I get switched? I love love love my Maxx, but the lack of support for it from Verizon as well as the lack of accessories is really annoying. I had no clue when they switched me at the time that they were killing the phone off to focus on the HD. None of the stuff for the HD works with the plain Maxx. I don't even WANT the phone to be HD but if it's got support then I'll do go for it. Thanks again everyone!!
