.I have a hard time knowing if this counts or not. I would never have been able to detect anything if I hadn't stared really hard at it in a bright light edge on. There is a barely visible line of glass visible microscopically raised on the left side which doesn't show up on the right side. Without all the complaints about it in the forum, I would never have looked that hard. I still can't get worked up about it, though.

they have to declare that its defective or you get charged they make that very clear.
I will wait a few month to buy another or I might get something else.
Additional charges for the full price of the device will be incurred if our service center doesn
The poll seems a bit negative to me. Since my answer isn't up there, I'll say it in text:
"No, but if I did I'd get a warranty replacement from Google."
I really like my N7 and would just get it replaced if there was a problem.

...does anyone have any photos of this screen separation business? I don't think I've seen anything on that front.
I have very slight separation in the upper middle left hand side, it gives very slightly when pressed, and you can see its just the width of a sheet of paper above the bezzel, but its so slight that I'm not too bothered. Certainly not worth RMA-ing it over.
With mine, I can actually even see light coming through the gap if the LED backlights are on.

No screen separation whatsoever. Too bad this was not a poll option. A simple yes or no would have sufficed.
Why is the only no option "no and I wouldn't care anyway"? I don't have the separation issue, but if I did, I would be sending it back. Why is there not just a generic "no" option?

obviously I have the same problem and talked to Google today. Absolutely no problems with the rep who told me that my card will be authorized for 250 dollars and the hold will be taken off once Google gets the old unit. No where in the email I received did it say I have to buy another nexus 7. I carefully read everything and I can post the text but nothing about the device being tested. I don't understand what people are talking about.
How long did it take for those who have the problem to notice it. I've had my device for almost 5 days now and I haven't noticed anything happening yet. Am I in the clear?
