You mean, something similar to the Nexus?I think I remember hearing that Honor is geared more for direct to consumer sales where Huawei branded phones are geared towards carriers, but I could be wrong. It could just be that Honor is easier to say that Huawei (Wah-Way).
The Nexus was meant to be a developer phone, so not quite. The original was only on Sprint to T-Mobile IIRC where the GNex started as a Verizon exlusive. You mean, something similar to the Nexus?
YepSo, Honor is Huawei's flagship line of products coming to the U.S.?
If they are as compatible as current Nexus phones (usable on all CDMA and GSM carriers) that would be cool. You mean, something similar to Nexus, since that line of devices aren't carrier-locked?
I have Verizon so this is what I'm most interested in! And a good radio, like Motorola, nice and strong. If that's the case I might just have to seriously consider it as an option. If they are as compatible as current Nexus phones (usable on all CDMA and GSM carriers) that would be cool.
Yep
Huawei has been selling the Honor line for several years but is now going to start selling it in the US.
Oh, you're right. I hadn't heard of them, but I see a lot of their devices on Amazon (UK) now that I look. They are big in Europe too. They dabbled in the US, but are making a significant push as of late.
That would be weird.Surprised they didn't re-brand to Honour though
I think the idea is that anyone anywhere in the world can pronounce honor without being confused by extra letters...
