So, Honor is Huawei's flagship line of products coming to the U.S.?
I think I remember hearing that Honor is geared more for direct to consumer sales where Huawei branded phones are geared towards carriers, but I could be wrong. It could just be that Honor is easier to say that Huawei (Wah-Way).

The Nexus was meant to be a developer phone, so not quite. The original was only on Sprint to T-Mobile IIRC where the GNex started as a Verizon exlusive.
Edit: In other markets the Honor brand is only sold online and carrier unlocked. Huawei branded phones will be found in more channels.

Huawei has been selling the Honor line for several years but is now going to start selling it in the US.
If they are as compatible as current Nexus phones (usable on all CDMA and GSM carriers) that would be cool.

They are big in Europe too. They dabbled in the US, but are making a significant push as of late.
Oh, you're right. I hadn't heard of them, but I see a lot of their devices on Amazon (UK) now that I look.

True, but they'd be doing themselves a huge favour if they endeavoured to embrace the local colour - people would be clamouring to buy their phones after seeing such behaviour.
