Help who is NOT having wifi issues...

yes or no.

could be wifi dropping mysteriously. or cant connect to a WAP while other devices can...

or in my case, download speed is crap...
 
Cor me everything seems ok. The only problem i get sometimes and im not sure what to bla.e it on.. once every so oftenn while on youtube or facebook i get the "no connection" but rarely happens and ilall it takes to fix is clicking retry a couple of times.
 
I can't log onto my 5Ghz band for some reason even though it sees it. I need to log onto my 2.4Ghz band. I've also have had intermittent issues - connected/disconnected/connected but it hasn't happened THAT much yet.

Change the wifi channel on your 5GHz to something else. It should pop up then.
 
Everything has been blazing fast on my phone. The only weird thing is it reports i dont have full strength when im 8 feet away from the router. I wonder if these phones are reporting numbers incorrectly.
 
Dont have any issues here, Mines a UK one.. I do notice it doesnt pick up the wifi signal as good as my other wifi enabled gadgets, But when im in range ive not had a disconnection so far
 
Very minor problem. Sometimes my phone won't connect to the 5GHz band on my dual band router and I have to turn wifi off and on again.
 
If you are having wifi issues do this...

Dial *#0011#
Hit the menu button
Disable wifi power saving mode
Back out of the phone app
Cycle wifi.
 
everything is fine for me, im in my basement where there is no 3g or 4g signal at all... im blazing fast on wifi
 
At first I was not having problems also, but every now and then I noticed it as I think all will eventually
I am trying the static ip option now and turned off show networks or something to that.

I turned off that setting disable power setting and think my battery drained but I just made other settings that may fix that, but that power saving setting did not stick anyway so far, I just went into to enable and was on so? I will give it another try if the other settings don't work.
 
I had wifi reconnecting constantly but had the phone exchanged due to another problem and the replacement doesn't have any wifi issues at all.
 
Since turning WiFi power saving mode off and WiFi to not turn off while sleeping, no problems now for me.

Funny, I've been having the same issue. The signal indicator suggests I have almost no connection, but I have no problems streaming with it. :confused:
 
Working fine so far, only used it a few times.

On my Driod X it never would work wireless, kept disconnecting. The only way I could use it was to tether.

The S3 is working wireless with no issues.
 
I ve had my sprint galaxy 3 since the release date. This is by far the best phone I have ever owned. I ve had no wi if issues at all,in fact it's awesome
 
the best part is it takes like 2 seconds for my wifi to connect after I enable it whereas it took forever with my droid x.
 
My WiFi was horrible in my S3, I would sit in my dining room, 2 rooms down from my wireless router (have an apple extreme and the Fios wireless both up), connecting to either of them gets me only 2 bars and very crappy download speeds where all my other devices were getting full bars and very fast download/upload speeds. I would have to be pretty close to the router, next room over, for the bars to kick in and be at full strength, If I went in my Den further away, I would get 1 bar and no data pretty much, web pages took forever to load or failed to load, yet again on all the other wireless devices i have, lighting fast results. This is one of the couple of reasons I returned the phone, 1 too many issues to waist my upgrade so far, I will wait for the next phone or a fix maybe on the S3
