Although it may not be sold on all three carriers anymore, our device is known to be operating in the US on Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and Sprint. This can make it difficult to address issues at times, and I think its time that we know where our device stands as far as who our carriers are.

I am creating this poll so that we can tailor our support and development threads accordingly, and know if our device is falling away on certain carriers. However, I acknowledge that our device is used in other markets, whether they be sold internationally or flashed to other carriers, and I will include that in the poll.

I have a Sprint Design. But it has been flashed to Boost. If I use a Boost rom my mms settings are fine. Do not have to be tweaked... but if I use 2fast's carrier detection rom I'm put in Sprint. Wish there was a way to select the carrier manually during installation or a second zip to flash for carrier settings. Wonder how it'll be for the AOSP roms. This poll should prove interesting. Thanks.

I'm with Sprint...but I noticed that Boost Mobile has a broader user base with this phone.

Carrier detection was done for a reasons associated with how sense handles APNs. AOSP is a bit different. The reason though it does that is because you still have the Sprint CID on your phone. A easy workaround for your problem is swapping out the CID in the carrier detection of the ROMs updater-script to install for you the boost mobile files instead if the Sprint ones for your CID.

It would be impossible to accommodate all the requests and special nuances people want when a ROM is put out. On your case I would attempt to understand how and why in your special case things are happening and how you can edit the file to accommodate your special situation. If you want to learn how to do this PM me and I'll walk you through it.

Oh yeah USCC and that is all around on our dev team as it goes.....
