Who wants the webOS card system on Android?

Yes and no.

Yes because it's awesome, no because I am not sure how it would work with widgets (I am a big fan of widgets).

Still would like to see it and play with it.

You're missing the point. If you have an Android device, just press and hold the "home" button and you'll get an icon for every app that's been opened since your last reboot.

Take that same concept and instead show bigger screenshots for those apps (maybe just the last 5 or so) and let the user scroll thru them. Not too hard to switch to that app with a touch or remove it from the list or actually terminate it with a "toss".

No icons or widgets were harmed during this emulation. :D They're still on your regular screens.

I freakin' love the card system in WebOS.

Just like I thought the window shade concept was almost the perfect way to handle notifications on phones when Android introduced it, I think the card system is almost the perfect way to handle multitasking on tablets.

Perfect Task Switcher shows some potential but seems to need some work.

I am in love with WebOs; it has a lot of hiccups... but, Android could learn a lot from the user experience found in the WebOs experience. I still find myself using my android phone like I use my Hp Touchpad's WebOs...
