I watched the G2 launch... sadly
No, it DOES have killer specs: but the user experience just isn't there for me. I'm not going to listen to the Vienna Boys Choir wake me up or tell me someone's calling; and the other features are just... meh.
X is a close second: it's actually SMALLER than the Galaxy Nexus and has a great user experience. But that's where it ends. It's not a "power player" as much as it is a highly usable phone for the average user... which is what Motorola and Google designed it to be.
The Note 3, however, packs a 5.7" full HD screen into the same chassis as the Note II - which was big in hand but not
too big. I'm not big on the whole home button and capacitive buttons, but I have to compromise somewhere. After watching the launch and what it's capable of, I just get the feeling that it's the phone for ME; that I would be missing key functionality if I waited for the X.
So I think I'm going to have to bid you folks adieu, and I sincerely hope you all enjoy the phone of YOUR dreams, the Moto X.
