Why Amazon have flexible price on N7?

i'd like to buy 16gb on amazon using my gift card( like i need one i've got 8gb) But anyway i was wondering why Amazon prices so high ? it's almost 25% more than retail price.

Because Amazon want you to purchase their Kindle Fire not Google Nexus 7.

Its secondary merchants than can charge whatever they please

I bought mine on ebay for $200 when the 16 gb were $250. Works and looks like new. I love it!

I bought the 32GB for $230. It was a promotion at Office Depot, but they had none left. So I went next door to HHGreg and they matched the price.

i paid $250 from ebay but with $15 s/h so $265 and yea i found out hhgreg got some good deals oh well next time ill shop around more.
