Why are S3's so popular?

I have jus jumped ship from iPhone to Android and chose the S3. I done a lot of research on many phones and this simply tickles my fancy but the clincher for me was he screen, both the quality and the size.
I did do a lot of searching and playing but this came up trumps for me.

I no doubt will also grab an S4 when that comes out as that screen is apparently a little bigger and better quality so WOW

There are more GS3 owners than a lot of devices combined, so more users

How can you quantify the 95%? My guess is that is wrong by about 95%

I have over 300 apps and games on my 32gb and no issues with any apps.

Not to say people are not having problems, but your position of a very subjective premise is approached in a very subjective manner.

This is more likely an OS issue rather than a phone issue. Many apps "SAY" they support JellyBean but fail miserably with force closes and the like.

This is most likely app issues with JellyBean and NOT the S3. The S3 was one of the first (not the first) to start receiving JellyBean and therefore has found most of the app issues. Also given the user base is so much larger they are bound to find more errors with apps.

Just my .02 that and $1.50 will get you a small coffee at your local shop

I think you're talking about app updates not working on s3s. That falls on the developers not testing on them before releasing, which is weird bc since its such a popular device you'd think they'd wanna test on it before they released.

But I chose it because it really is an awesome device. <Insert any number of Samsung Galaxy SIII vs XYZ review here> for proof.

You said it, many of the comments are from S3 owners because they are popular.

Why are they popular? They're big and fast, just makes everything easier.

Wow, really? That's your conclusion? What messages did *you* read. First off, you don't need all that $$$ to buy it nowadays, second, the iphone is the phone that's touted as the "phone for dummies", you know.... it's so simple to use and foolroof so that only a ... ;-) And lastly, the comments in *this* thread point out that the S3, although not perfect, is an awesome phone. One has to wonder what you have been reading, instead.
