Why are they putting this out with a poor battery?

Possibly, but more importantly, it is an old thread that died back in May before the phone was released. KeithSr did a little grave digging ;)
 
hmmm.. i actually have no problem with battery life on this one. It lasts me pretty much the whole day with moderate use and I only charge it sometimes on my car charger on my way home from work.
 
Fwiw. I just got my GS3 yesterday. Its been off the charger for 8hrs and 48 min today and I have 25% left. My previous 4s would've been dead by noon.

Edit: This is with heavy use, 3G and of course, no signal ... Thx Sprint lol
 
I have been quite impressed with the battery on my gs3. Today off charger for 13 hours three of those was in wifi...I bounce in and out of 4g while im at work all day..frequent facebooking some web browsing heavy texting...still have 55%..some people just have better luck than others..my wifes s3 doesn't last like mine does..just the luck of the draw sometimes imo..
 
I agree with the poor battery life, mine sucks, 11 hours and I have 15% left, My iPhone 4 would be at at least 50% still with same day to day use of email, texting and a couple of calls. I will try "battery saver" mode tomorrow and see if it helps

Amazon has a 4500 mAh I bought from onite. How can you beat these stats? Day 1 was heavy use, day 2 was medium.

but a strong reason I like the S3 is the feel, compactness and light weight of it, I dont want to add weight and more bulk.

does it add a lot?
 
Must be one of those htc guys with there 1,700 batterys lmao. You know a phone is great with haters do drive by post ;).
