Help Why aren't my numbers dial-able on Android 4.4.4?

hi
i have 4 android 4.4.4 devices
when i sent a number in a message it is not callable
for example my friend sent me this sms:

hello Allen. please call Jamie. his phone number is 12345678

i cant touch 12345678 and call jamie. i must write number on paper and then call him! this is not fare AS lumia and android 2.X do that....
any solutions? suggestions? apps?

Right, I just tested on my sms app (Google messanger) and I just had to tap the message and the number popped up with options.
Maybe try that sms app instead?

Seriously. So if you receive a message with a phone number in it and you tap the message, the number doesn't pop up allowing you to call or save it?

when i touched the number nothing occurred. because the number is not touchable!
but i found the solution!!!!!!
i installed Go sms pro and it can do!!!
thanks funkylogic :)

No problem mate but be careful with any "GO" apps, they tend to bombard you with spam.
On Messanger, I didn't have to touch the actual number, just the message bubble :thumbsupdroid:
