Because, 320Mhz is just enough for everyday use with no lag and it saves battery. I up it to 800Mhz when I play Angry Birds ​

WIth my new W17PRO tablet, It has power saving, normal and performance CPU settings.

Ive left it on normal for most of the time [runs at 1.2GHZ]

but have recentaly left it on performance mode [full 1.5GHZ] and my battery drains much much slower.

Like letting it run wide open, uses less power?
