It is a nifty gadget, but still an extra piece of kit in your pocket ... unless you buy an extra one for your tripod, nightstand, desk, counter top, bathroom (with facetime OFF, hopefully) ... um what are we up to now, 5?

From looking at the image, apparently all you would need to do is allow for thickness variations of different model phones. I see no problem machining a universal android mount.

i got a tripod in a 30 dollar accessory bundle i ordered from china or some damn place... it clamps my phone in place. no where near as sweet as that thing looks! the one holding the tree is awesome although i dont think i would EVER use it haha

That's the gorillapod, it actually works very well. I've been using it for my camera ^_^

I have a pinchclamp style holder that slips into the a/c vents of my truck. However, there is an option to slip it in a holder that 3m tapes to your dash, too. I don't know why I haven't thought about this before, but since I tether to my laptop, I plan to mount the dash holder to my lappy stand....

It was $12 at Pepboys.
