Why did you Root?

On my phone i was pretty anxious to root, i wanted to use tether to give my tablet wifi on the road. I also wanted to control cpu to improve battery life.

neither of those reasons would apply to the tf201, im just wondering what am i not thinking of?

Also just in case some day i decide to RMA, i couldn't do it without unrooting, right?

+1 I always forget about that one because it just works unobtrusively. I'm sure I'd notice if I didn't have it though...

i rooted for adfree, Root explorer, setcpu, quickboot, ota rootkeeper and much much more oh yeah and to become a superuser lol.

Well I like virtuous rom. It runs the prime that much smoother and also incorperates viperboys 1.6 GHz overclock. Unrooted you will max out at 1.4 GHz. Also all the other posts of superuser, adblock, voodoo root keeper, etc... Here is a link for the rom if you decide to go that route, at least until CM9 comes out.
