Help Why does Android chat client 1.1 not display all my AIM contacts?

I'm using the htc hero stock IM application (android chat client 1.1 alpha) and it only shows a couple of the people online on AIM, I check on my computer and there are much more online? What's causing this?

I noticed the same thing and still don't have a reason.

I was using Palringo which has a really nice interface but seemed to be quite the battery hog. I'm back to using AIM SMS for "emergency replies" again.

I'm going to try ebuddy next....
