Why does android phone suck compare to iphone?

That is my experience as well. Android asks you what happened when an app crashes. iOS tries to hide the fact that an app crashed and may mislead users into thinking they pressed the wrong button.
The last couple of times I recall reading about app crash rates on iOS and Android, the rates are quite similar. Depending on when such an article is published, iOS may nose ahead slightly or Android may nose ahead slightly.
For iphone, the software and hardware are made by the same company and they customize the software to match with the hardware which is optimized which indicates better battery life than Android.Android is an opensource and every company manufactures Android phone and it depends on the manufacturer how they optimize the software and hardware.

Both Apple and Androids and really good phones, but judging all Android phones with only lg v20 is not fare for Android phones.

I agree with the comments about one phone not being representative of Android. In fact I would say, you just need to buy a couple of lemons and you would think the entire set is rubbish.
My son had an Android phone (Samsung) and it was a disaster. My wife had an Android phone (Sony) and that was better, but still it was not a good experience. However my daughter had a OnePlus - that was anything but bad in terms of experience. It was sufficient for myself to consider Android when my Windows phone started to quit on me. When my wife needed a new phone, I persuaded her to go with OnePlus. Since then the complaints about the phone doing strange things has reduced.
There are many things that are good with Android, however the openness of it is its strength & weakness.
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus constantly surprises me. If you configure the battery & apps correctly they tend to last a while.
So far I have not had too many program crashes. Program crashes are to be expected especially if you think of the combinations of O/S the app is expected to work with. Apple comes in a limited set of flavours - this makes it easier to write an app for. So any crash on an Apple system is a crash to far.

I am going back to iphone. I don't like android simple. I have tried galaxy s2 skyrocket when it was still new and a sony xperia z something when it was brand new and now this phone. That is 3 times I have tried android before sticking with ios. I had gone through not just one android during this year alone. I seem to like iphone and ios better. ios is more stable then android. I know apps crash on ios but it gets fixed way faster then android devices and my apps are still crashing on my v20, like I said I am ditching android when iphone 8 or edition comes out. I don't care about price point.
I use my custom built gaming pc(which I don't game on anymore and I don't even have an imac or macbook pro, I could afford it but I don't like other apple stuff but their iphones) which costed me 1.6k to build with a gtx 1070. They are great phones. I do have an ipad air that I use for streaming or whatever around the house but nothing more.

Just when you think that this has always been the main opinion.
We tend to slide back to windows vs mac.
Windows is installed on multiple platforms of hardware and different specifications of ram/hdd size.
Of course just about every mac laptop will have nearly the same battery life if used the same, while all windows laptops vary on the battery size and battery draining installed apps.
In the end for personal use people use windows and even for business, but for graphic design mac is the top dog.
Battery life will always be nearly the same if all phone layouts were nearly identical and ran the with same profiles provided in the ios kernel configuration.
Android kernels are all configured for the multiple million different designs used for android phones, so it is really hard to compare.
All in all if apple was open source you would have the same issues as people and companies will always want to beef up clock speeds or lower the voltage on certain phones.

Like I said, I owned almost every generation of iphones and never once had a problem with them even when I first got my iphone 4s when it was released. I have tried samsung skyrocket s2 and something sony xperia z both had android and did not find anything to my liking. Like I said I like there phones and their ipads are okay. I have had an ipad 4(sold), I been having an ipad air for a while now and haven't had the need to upgrade the air yet.

Totally agree! Ive just noticed more designers run mac.
I honestly see no other use for a mac except for users who want a colorful and easy look with over priced hardware.
Actually if you go to CERN (the world's leading particle physics laboratory) you'll see a lot of Macs in use (and most of the PCs you see are running Linux, all of our serious computing being done on Linux farms). I see many physicists in other disciplines also carrying them.
The fact that MacOS is based on a Unix derivative makes it more usable for me than Windows (I use both Mac and Linux for work). Though Windows 10 finally adding virtual workspaces is an improvement for productivity, albeit more than 20 years after other platforms...
Off topic, but just noting that there are people who use computers seriously who use Macs, not just designers and poseurs.

That's pretty much the opinion I've had about the iPhone in China.
FWIW I do use Macs, mainly because I don't really want to be dealing with Windows too much here, and I'm not a designer. And about overpriced hardware, try Microsoft Surface, I mean for what you get they're more expensive than Macs.

Not all Androids suck, The Moto Z Play's battery life is good, And I kind of understand what you mean, my LG Escape 3 battery is very quick draining. Try getting a Blackberry instead of a iPhone because I have seen one on youtube and it had over 34k mAh.
Don't believe everything you hear on YouTube. I have a 26k mAh power bank and its a lot bigger than a phone (unless you include those 1980s bricks). More likely the person misread it and it actually has 3.4k mAh (which is the capacity of the Priv), which many phablets match or exceed.

i think it is great there are still 2 major players in mobile device arena... IOS vs Android. (not apple vs "all other MANUFACTURES OF ANDROID PHONES")
If 1 or the other wins more than 90% of the market... the consumers will get screwed !
this keeps competition between the 2 .. and that makes it exciting for consumers.
My personal hope.. Windows Phone has a huge come-back.
and the 3 will share the market.
Android = 40%
apple = 30%
windows = 30%
this competition for consumer $$$...
has greatly benefited android phone market... keeping it innovative and fast with new things.. i admit, sometimes not with the greatest outcomes.
and while market pressure has keep the price down.
comparing it to IOS market.. 1 maker.. their device has become stagnate... and only able to try to keep up with android's development.

I've had a Blackberry and a couple of Windows phones (Running WP8.1 and more recently WP10. I gave the Blackberry away, and keep the WP10 phone as a backup phone. I quite like the WP UI, it's intuitive and works well. My main phone is android 6.0. but I've no feelings that one OS is necessarily 'better' than another. Just a better fit for someone's needs/preferences.
Android is more of an open and flexible community. This openness will affect quality at some level because of less stringent policy. I have been using the top end Android phones since 2010. I always had an option to select a top end Android or iPhone with my mobile contract, but has always selected an Android phone. I currently use S7 Edge, which is just amazing.
I think/ask the following:
1. Choice of hardware
2. Flexibility of OS
3. Can I expand memory
4. Can I access my files on my phone by just connecting it to my pc (like a usb stick) without having to a software like iTunes.
5. NFC on my phone can a lot more than just contactless payment
6. The newer android version support allowing /disallow specific permission on the app.
7. etc etc
I don't think you can get all these on an iOS Device
