Help Why does firefox turn black or white?

The page blacks or whites out and I cannot see it. Sometime I can see the qges when viewing the tabs menu, but when I click on a tab the screen gpes black or white. Why?

I had that happen with a strange browser I was trying out.
Was looking in my good browser but can't find a Themes button to change it...

I haven't seen that. I use the firefox add-in "dark background and white text" to turn everything dark for battery saving. Although firefox is a slow browser. I now prefer lightning Brower Orem source Brower which has a dark mode and (in pro version) an ad blocker.

No, I mean the browser screen will be completely blacoed or whited out.
