WHy does google maps try to open my installation files?

Hi - I recently downloaded hidenseek, amongst other apps and every time i go to install the app(s), google maps opens up and then tells me it can't open the content, or some similar message. What's all that about then? (the apps haven't installed either).

Sounds like you have it backwards. The real question is: why is your app's installer opening Google Maps? See if clearing the defaults for Google Maps helps.

Not sure why that is happening but you can use an app like astro file manager to install apps.
