Why does my volume only go up half way?

why is it when i hit the volume rocker on the side, it only goes half way? i mean, its still loud as hell, but still. Even the Alarm volume only goes half way. What gives?

got any apps that might affect volume?

not sure. i dont think so. maybe an app that toggles between silent, vib, and normal. ill uninstall it and see what happens.

its amazing what a phone reboot will do. it fixed it.
