Help why does my wifi keep disconecting

As said above, sat right next to router so its not a signal issue, basically I turn the WiFi on and it will connect but only for like a minute then it will disconnect and re connect its really annoying! Anyone else had the same issue?
 
What firmware do you have on your X10 and is it rooted?

Mine keeps going on and off and it's really frustrating but, only since I rooted. I'm also having the network signal drop on n off.
 
I have the same issue....

I could be playing a game, with wifi on, go to submit a score & then wifi has disappeared!! Its very annoying!! Wifi sleep policy is set to never sleep.

Why does it sleep ,when its set to not sleep!!??
 
same here, unrooted, latest update, and the wifi is doing my head in,
It does appear to sleep, then kick in when needed..eventually ((if at all in some cases))
But not a clue why..sorry.

Any Ideas Anyone??
 
go to settings -> wireless controls -> wifi settings -> then menu, select advanced -> then wifi sleep policy

in that screen, there are three options, you can select 'never'. i think the default is 'when screen turns off'
 
Mine us already set to never I've tried everything I can thinkof to make it stop lol haven't got a clue, this is the only downfall I'm pissed off with on the x10
 
Yeah others have said it's set to never sleep as well. Mine is too and I ended up re-rooting today, slightly better but, not really. But i may as well stay rooted if so many non rooted users are also having an issue.
