Why does this keep dissapearing

Whenever I put a video on my phone but save it to my sd card it will play for like a day, then I notice if ai reboot my phone, it dissapears. why is that??
 
Does it reappear? There is a database that keeps up with where a file is and its info. So unless your SD card is flaking. Does anything else on the card disappear? This is the kind of thing you have to eliminate causes one by one.

Everything else stays on the card and nothing else dissappears. Even i had a video on the internal and it stayed there, so I moved it to sd card and then it stays for a day then dissapears too.
