Why doesn't Android have "Run as previous version"

Why doesn't Android have the option to run apps as a previous version of the software? Like if you have 5.0 and an app doesn't work, I could go into it and say "run as 4.4" and it would work again.

Like what windows has built in. If you have Win 8.1, you can go in and change the application to run as Win 7 to fix issues with the program.

This would solve so many issues with developers not updating their apps in time.

Right now with 5.0 on my Note 3, I have several apps that just simply won't run correctly because it hasn't been updated yet.

5.0 Lollipop has been out for four months now, many devices are now coming with it or are being updated, perhaps try contacting the devs concerned, remind them to update their apps.
